I loved the detail on the engine of this Triumph Bonneville. Note to self – next year take the macro lens (and camera of course).

Day 95 – Motorcycle technology!

Day 94 – another lunchtime walk and more common wildflowers.

Day 93 – my new place to visit at lunchtime

Day 92 – Northampton buildings

Day 91 – I go here at least once a week so it was bound to feature at some point – they even got the flags out for me.

Day 90 – Spring brings baby birds into the garden.

Day 89 – a day in the park campaigning for bees

Day 88 – more churches, but when they are this interesting, then, why not – no apologies.

Day 87 – Francis Crick celebrated.

Day 86 – sometimes nature is just so flaming lovely that you have to stop and take a look.

Day 85 – simple pleasures in life can include nice writing tools.

Day 84 – lots of plants greening a small space

Day 83 – Water, water everywhere.

Day 82 – what can be better than eating food that you have grown yourself?

Day 81 – out with Butterfly Conservation friends

Day 80 – Some things in life are definitely an improvement – I hope my lunchtime walks might give me more camera fodder.

Day 79 – Tai Chi shoes

Day 78 – my tulips are mullered.

Day 77 – I am trying to get organised.

Day 76 – a new start for me

Day 75 – the end of the past and hopefully the start of something better

Day 74 – lots of rain + spring = lots of green

Day 73 – lots of rain = lots of puddles

One minute rain, next minute the sun comes out…

Day 71 – I will soon be indulging in my other creative outlet.

Day 70 – the teapot gets a workout.

Day 69 – roadside flowers

I was trying to take some different shots whilst in London – although you should have seen some of the steps!!

Day 68 – home cooked food – yum.

Day 67 and more urban landscapes

Not perfect, but I still liked the shot of the church porch and its vegetation and may go back to get a better photo.

Day 66 – only 300 to go

Day 65 and back in Daventry

Day 64 and a day just to tai photos

I was out taking photos of churches (everyone should have a hobby) and saw a pile of bricks.

Day 63 – An afternoon taking church photos.

Day 62 and the best laid plans of mice and men…

Day 61 – Steps in Daventry

Day 60 – new seeing eyes.

Day 59 – an untidy desk, but it is mine and it works for me

Day 58 – more from the garden

Day 57 – my favourite tulip

Day 56 and I went for a wander around Towcester.

Day 55 and a walk in the park

Day 54 – out for a walk and therefore a photograph from the natural world.

Day 53 – I had to find something in Daventry to photograph on a grey uninspiring day.

Holgas are all well and good, but I wanted a proper medium format camera – this one cost me £10 more than the Holga and really would have been a better starting point. Ho Hum.

I love it when nature provides bright colours such as the acid yellow/green of the Euphorbia and the red of the ladybird -especially if they stay still.

Day 51 – puddles are for splashing

Day 50 and a look behind the high street in Daventry.

Day 49 – 7 weeks in and still new things flowering in the garden.

Day 48 – garden produce – there’s nothing better.

Who could resist such a pretty site in someone’s front garden?

Day 47 – a visit to the Flore Open Garden scheme.

Day 46 – living life to the full

Day 45 – slow down and take a look at what is around that you might be missing out on.

Day 44 required a quick dash into the front garden.

Day 43 and back to Spring and Nature.

Day 42 and a photographic trip to Stowe.

Day 41 and more flowers are showing themselves.

Day 40 – back to nature photography – out with the 50mm lens, in with the macro!

Day 39 – flowers in the garden

Day 38 and one of the highlights of our garden.

Day 37 – I decided to combine my love of baking (and cakes) with my 366 project.

Day 36 – there are always some that get away

Day 35 and time for more sunshiny flowers.

Day 34 – More geometry

I loved the curve of the steps and the way that something so bleak as urban concrete could still be interesting.

Day 33 – another photo that I have been meaning to take for a while.

Indoor architectural shot today, taking advantage of a trip to Birmingham

Day 31 and photos of train tickets and memories of warm days in France.

30 days and theme completed – this time with the native flowering shrub blackthorn.

I am into week 5 now, some days have been easier than others, but looking for a subject can be very rewarding.

More steps – it is surprising how many there are if you start to look!!

I took inspiration from a sculptor who takes inspiration from nature for today’s shot.

Another shot that differed from that originally intended.

Sometimes an image just strikes you as right, other people may not see it in the same way, but that doesn’t matter.

Tulips – fantastic photographic subject and an excellent way to brighten the day.

Another celandine, this time native and in its natural habitat.

Another shot that I am really pleased with. I think that the requirement to take shots every day is meaning that I am savouring the chance to be a little more considered when I have some spare time.

24 days into the project already and signs of garden regeneration – no signs of improved photography yet – I promise to try harder tomorrow.

Moon and clouds, the execution could be better, but it is still OK.
Sometimes there are patterns in the snow where you are not expecting to see them.

Red veined sorrel – brightens up any garden.

An afternoon walk and, as so often happens in Northamptonshire, an outbreak of photos of canals, or, to be more precise, bridges over canals.

Three weeks in and it is still a challenge – although this time I went out specifically to take photos.

Day 20 – not quite the photo I had hoped for, but it is different if not technically competent.

A beautiful bee to celebrate spring and the dusting off of my macro lens.

Indoor hand held shooting with a macro lens for a grey March day.

I think I got the lighting right, got the subject as I wanted it and didn’t feel the need to straighten the shot in Lightroom. Just got to crack the cardinal rule of check the edges of the frame for unwanted distractions.

Day 18 – nature in an industrial estate

A trip to Coton Manor was undertaken to get today’s photo.
More steps, this time completely different to the others I have taken – a cross between Victorian and public toilet.

A more deliberate shot for day 16.

The start of my third week and a sudden shot of inspiration.

Two weeks in and still on the theme.

Sometimes a photo is just nice. That is what I think of this one.

Day 13 and my photos are still no better, but 353 to go.

Day 12 and I ventured away from the garden to take the photo du jour.
