My first attempt at film photography has had mixed results!
One of my few attempts at Street Photography.

The first of a series of photos from an Urban Photography course. I found it difficult to find pictures that I would normally take when in a completely unfamiliar environment, but this is closer to my usual style.

I take lots of flower shots from below, but it didn’t automatically occur to me to treat a sculpture of a flower in the same way.

Silhouettes can give a different view of something seen every day.
A slightly abstract snow scene taking whilst waiting for someone to get ready for a walk.

An early attempt at a very vertical picture.

Sometimes an accident turns out to be serendipitous.

I try not to use any of the automatic settings on my camera if I can help it, but the temptation to take photos using streetlight made me switch to a low light level setting on the camera – I was pleasantly surprised.
Two points in a photo should create some tension, but only if positioned correctly.

Taking a shot of a mundane object, without any excuse of poor lighting or lack of time to compose a shot is incredibly difficult. This is my first venture into studio shots for some time.

I have tried changing the sharpness of the images in my new S90, but the results were not entirely expected.

An experimental shot in the semi-dark.

An experimental shot of the motorway at night highlights all of the problems with this subject.
